We loved our stay here. The unit was well appointed with everything you could need. Very quiet and great location. Walking distance to town and beautiful Keuka Lake.

We loved Hammondsport and this place was right in the middle of everything, easy to walk to the lake, restaurants, ice cream and breakfast. The place was clean and simple, would definitely visit again!

Hubbs Cellar was the perfect base for our Finger Lakes wine tour. Clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Walter was very helpful with local recommendations. We'll be back!

Wow, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Hammondsport! Steps from the lake, restaurants and minutes from wineries and other activities. Walter’s place was spotless and comfortable. A lot of thought was put into having everything you could possibly imagine. We didn’t want for a thing. It was quiet and peaceful, and we loved saying hi to Macy, the black lab. We would definitely return to Hammondsport and Walter’s place. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently spent five days in the Junior’s Suite. We loved it. The location is great since everything you need is an easy walk. Walter is very attentive . The unit is well appointed and very clean.We are looking forward to returning.

We would stay here again with no problem! Lovely place! Positive: It was beautiful! Negative: Being a lower level, the floor was cold, but slippers took care of that minor detail.

We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. The apartment is beautifully maintained and has a real homey feel. We loved being so close to the lake and the wineries. Walter goes above and beyond as a host. Already planning our next trip!

This lovely place in Hammondsport was perfect for a first ever trip to the Finger Lakes. It is extremely well appointed and very clean. The furniture and bed are high quality and very comfortable. The space is quite large for a one bedroom and has a beautiful dining room. We appreciated the special coffee and the complimentary bottle of local wine! Its location close to the lake and restaurants and shops is also perfect. We will definitely look to stay again if we come back to the area.

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at Walter’s Guest House. Our trip could not have gone better and Hubb’s Cellar was at the heart of it all. From the perfect location to the lake, grocery store, shops, restaurants & more, to the cleanliness and homey atmosphere of Walter’s place itself, we could not have been more satisfied. The location also provided a short drive to Watkins Glenn and a great starting point to the Keuka Lake wine trail. Walter was informative, helpful, and incredibly kind. We can’t wait to return! Don’t miss out on this absolute gem! 10/10!!!

What a gem! The Hubbs Cellar is charming and spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Hammondsport is such a quaint town and this location is perfect for exploring it. Walter is very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Junior's Suite was the highlight of our Finger Lakes trip. Spacious, clean, and in the best location. The kitchen was great for making breakfasts before heading out to the wineries. Walter is an excellent host who truly cares about his guests' experience. We'll be back!

What a great experience! Walter was an incredibly thoughtful host, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He gave us plenty of local recommendations including places to take our pup. The actual Airbnb was very spacious, clean, and included everything you might need for the weekend. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as the lake. As first time visitors of the finger lakes, we could not have asked for a better trip. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed for a few nights for a little getaway. Didn't cook, but looks like they are well set up for that. Very well appointed and comfy with great communications and attention to detail. Super clean. Particularly loved the automatic fireplace. Short walk to lake, groceries, multiple restaurants. Short drive to wineries, Curtiss museum. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Positive: JS Hubbs a 5. The owners are so thoughtful to stock the place with toiletries and abottle of wine. The place is like new and location is perfect. Checkin was easy. Dedicated parking spot.

Walt thought of everything!! There were even cups and dishes for little ones, not that we had any there. Spotless and comfortable, and an easy walk to everything. I will highly recommend to everyone, and will definitely be back!

Our stay at Hubbs Cellar was fantastic. The space is perfect, spacious, and comfortable, and the location can't be beat. Just steps from the lake and everything the town has to offer in terms of shopping and dining. Walter was a fantastic host and was super responsive to questions, gave excellent recommendations, and made the stay even better knowing he was just a message away. My wife and I stayed at JJ Hubbs Cellar for our honeymoon, and we were not disappointed. Located right across the street from the grocery store and just a short walk to the lakefront and charming downtown Hammondsport, it made for the perfect weekend retreat. We were greeted by the fresh scent of clean linens and a well-maintained, sparkling unit. The overall cleanliness truly stood out. The crisp sheets, cozy blankets, and tasteful decor throughout made us feel instantly at home. Walter and Meredith went the extra mile by leaving a local dry Riesling chilling in the wine fridge for us. Though we never met them in person, their hospitality and warmth were palpable through the app. They were responsive, thoughtful, and clearly wanted us to have a great stay. We highly recommend staying at JJ Hubbs Cellar when visiting Hammondsport on Keuka Lake. You won’t be disappointed.
