Walter's place was amazing--roomy, spotless, close to restaurants and the beach and so much more. The apartment has comfortable furniture throughout, including the bed, a full kitchen and lots of room to spread out or work away from home (unfortunately)! Walter left us a bottle from a local winery and gave us helpful information about wineries, restaurants and the general area. We had our Aussies with us and they were welcomed and very comfortable. Hammondsport is a quintessential dog friendly small town complete with town square and gazebo (and a concert on Thursday night), ice cream parlor (that serves breakfast), bakery, coffee roaster, town beach and good dinner restaurants--what else is needed? Excellent wineries are near-by as well as a dog park. We plan to make a return visit and will definitely stay at Walter's place!

Walter is a kind and thoughtful host! His suite is perfect for a small family with 2–3 adults, a young child, and even a pet. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly child-friendly. For our toddler (1–3 years), Walter provided a crib, unbreakable dinnerware, all kinds of cups, a high chair, and a booster seat. He even went the extra mile to babyproof all the outlets, which gave us great peace of mind. As someone who usually overpacks for baby travel, I was pleasantly surprised to find almost everything we needed already provided. (If you’re traveling with a baby under 1, you might still want to bring a bottle warmer, but otherwise, it’s all here!) We also brought our dog, and Walter had thoughtfully prepared pet essentials—pee pads, bowls, a leash, and waste bags. Both our little ones—human and canine—were very comfortable here. Highly recommend this stay, especially for families traveling with young children and pets. It truly felt like a home away from home!

Walt thought of everything!! There were even cups and dishes for little ones, not that we had any there. Spotless and comfortable, and an easy walk to everything. I will highly recommend to everyone, and will definitely be back!

We checked out today but we didn't want to leave! This place is a gem. It's close to everything, the lake, the restaurants, The Hidden Cork, the wineries, and the museums. Very clean and well appointed. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just happened to stumble across this darling place when we were walking around. We stayed 2 very comfortable nights. It’s so clean and welcoming! We loved it there.

Hubbs Cellar was the perfect base for our Finger Lakes wine tour. Clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Walter was very helpful with local recommendations. We'll be back!

We wish we could give more than 5 stars! Walter’s place was gorgeous and a treat to stay in. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants in town and only steps away from the water. Walter was extremely kind, flexible, and communicative. He gave us great recommendations for a dog park in the area (which our dog loved) and a wine bar that we thoroughly enjoyed. He was able to check us in an hour early, and he even left us a bottle of wine as an anniversary present. The whole stay was wonderful and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

The place was great! Surprisingly spacious! Two king sized beds. Easy walk to the square and food. Walter was super responsive and helpful! Will def stay again!

Junior's Suite was the highlight of our Finger Lakes trip. Spacious, clean, and in the best location. The kitchen was great for making breakfasts before heading out to the wineries. Walter is an excellent host who truly cares about his guests' experience. We'll be back!

This lovely place in Hammondsport was perfect for a first ever trip to the Finger Lakes. It is extremely well appointed and very clean. The furniture and bed are high quality and very comfortable. The space is quite large for a one bedroom and has a beautiful dining room. We appreciated the special coffee and the complimentary bottle of local wine! Its location close to the lake and restaurants and shops is also perfect. We will definitely look to stay again if we come back to the area.

We had such a wonderful short stay in Juniors Suite! The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the host, Walter, was very responsive and kind. Location was perfect—close to everything we needed but still quiet and relaxing. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to return in the future. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hubbs Cellar for 2 nights over Halloween weekend. The location was perfect, situated right in the quaint village of Hammondsport and walkable to plenty spots for breakfast and dinner with an easy drive to many of the wineries along Keuka Lake. If we were there for an extended period, the kitchen is also a great perk to have access to cook in as well. The place was so spacious and just like the photos. Everything was clean, easily accessible, and just perfect. We would love to stay again on a future visit to Hammondsport!

Amazing stay at Walter’s place. The location steps from Keuka Lake and the village was perfect, and the property had such a unique charm with a beautiful blend of historic character and modern interiors. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We’d absolutely love to come back again.

It was ideal for our stop-over while visiting family. The 2br/2bath unit was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. We've already booked it for our next trip to the area.

We headed to Hammondsport for a little cycling in August and needed a place to call home, turns out The Nautilus was the perfect place. Walter is an amazing host working with us through some unexpected issues and providing ample parking and a safe place for our bikes. I can't say enough...

Walter was a fantastic host, very accommodating and takes personal pride in the listing and it shows! It was a short trip for my brother in laws 100k race but we will be back! If you are looking for something on or near Keuka lake this is a must stay!

After stay at a few different places in Finger Lakes over the years, we found a real gem and can’t wait to return! Positive: Very comfortable, spacious, well appointed. Pictures don’t do it justice! The perfect location is close to restaurants, shopping. Check in was super easy. Negative: Nothing to say here

We had an amazing stay in Junior’s Suite! The space was beautiful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Walter was extremely communicative, responded quickly and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and had all we needed. Easily walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants and gorgeous Lake Keuka. We had the best time! Highly recommend!!

We stayed in The Nautilus & it was perfect for us, clean & the location is so close to the water & we enjoyed walking to the water. Walter was so helpful & answered any questions we had promptly. We do plan on returning soon.
