J.S. Hubbs Guest House

We headed to Hammondsport for a little cycling in August and needed a place to call home, turns out The Nautilus was the perfect place. Walter is an amazing host working with us through some unexpected issues and providing ample parking and a safe place for our bikes. I can't say enough about the accommodations (newly renovated, well stocked, clean and comfortable) or the host (Walter made us feel right at home throughout our stay). Thanks for everything! We'll be back next summer!

It was ideal for our stop-over while visiting family. The 2br/2bath unit was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. We've already booked it for our next trip to the area.

Walt thought of everything!! There were even cups and dishes for little ones, not that we had any there. Spotless and comfortable, and an easy walk to everything. I will highly recommend to everyone, and will definitely be back!

My husband and I recently spent five days in the Junior's Suite. We loved it. The location is great since everything you need is an easy walk. Walter is very attentive. The unit is well appointed and very clean. We are looking forward to returning.

Walter is a great host and the home is extremely beautiful and clean! I travel 80% and stay in a ton of Airbnb’s and this place is at the top of my list! Every detail has been thought through and Walter is very proactive and makes sure you are comfortable and have all you need! The town is great and very walkable as well!

Outstanding property in the heart of Hammondsport. Walter is a phenomenal host who goes above and beyond. The Nautilus was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Steps from the lake and village. Cannot recommend enough!

The suite was just what we needed to enjoy an evening concert nearby while also taking in the nightlife around Hammondsport. We only stayed one night but Walter’s place could easily be enjoyed for mich longer. Location was excellent. Parking was great. Definitely recommend.

I loved staying in this Airbnb! It was extremely clean and had the most comfortable furniture. It was a quick walk to the lake and an easy drive to some of the best wineries. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at Walter’s Guest House. Our trip could not have gone better and Hubb’s Cellar was at the heart of it all. From the perfect location to the lake, grocery store, shops, restaurants & more, to the cleanliness and homey atmosphere of Walter’s place itself, we could not have been more satisfied. The location also provided a short drive to Watkins Glenn and a great starting point to the Keuka Lake wine trail. Walter was informative, helpful, and incredibly kind. We can’t wait to return! Don’t miss out on this absolute gem! 10/10!!!

We checked out today but we didn't want to leave! This place is a gem. It's close to everything, the lake, the restaurants, The Over the Bridge Wine Bar, the wineries, and the museums. Very clean and well appointed. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend

We stayed in The Nautilus & it was perfect for us, clean & the location is so close to the water & we enjoyed walking to the water. Walter was so helpful & answered any questions we had promptly. We do plan on returning soon.

This was perfect for our holiday weekend stay in the Finger Lakes. Cozy and private with plenty of space for us and our two dogs. Location was only a block or two from restaurants in Hammondsport or the park on the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Walter’s Airbnb was the perfect getaway for us. We could walk to the lake and also easily all around town. The place was immaculate and exactly as presented in the listing. Walter responded very quickly to our questions. We highly recommend this place.

The place was great! Surprisingly spacious! Two king sized beds. Easy walk to the square and food. Walter was super responsive and helpful! Will def stay again!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return in a heartbeat! The location is unbeatable. We could see the lake right from the property & easily walk down to it, stroll into town for shopping & dining, & visit the grocery store across the street (& the public library was just steps away, a treat for the book lovers in our group!) The whole area is incredibly scenic. The unit itself was beautifully decorated, cozy, and felt like a real home away from home. It was spacious enough for the three of us, with comfortable beds, plenty of seating, and gorgeous natural light throughout. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook and eat. Walter was an outstanding host. Very communicative, thoughtful, and attentive. The directional signage around the property was much-appreciated & made everything seamless from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this stay!

The junior suite was just perfect for a night in Hammondsport. Very walkable to restaurants and the lake. Very clean, comfortable and Walter is a great host. Look forward to staying again in the future.
