It was ideal for our stop-over while visiting family. The 2br/2bath unit was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. We've already booked it for our next trip to the area.

What a great experience! Walter was an incredibly thoughtful host, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He gave us plenty of local recommendations including places to take our pup. The actual Airbnb was very spacious, clean, and included everything you might need for the weekend. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as the lake. As first time visitors of the finger lakes, we could not have asked for a better trip. We can’t wait to come back!

A truly wonderful stay! The space is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared. The location couldn't be better, it's an easy walk to the lake, local restaurants, great coffee shops, and the new bridge that leads right over to Champlain Beach. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My husband and I recently spent five days in the Junior’s Suite. We loved it. The location is great since everything you need is an easy walk. Walter is very attentive . The unit is well appointed and very clean.We are looking forward to returning.

Our stay at Walter’s place couldn’t have been any better. He was extremely welcoming, the place was clean, and he provided us with great recommendations for local places to visit. He was great at communicating and made us truly feel like his home was our home. We are looking forward to booking with him again soon!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hubbs Cellar for 2 nights over Halloween weekend. The location was perfect, situated right in the quaint village of Hammondsport and walkable to plenty spots for breakfast and dinner with an easy drive to many of the wineries along Keuka Lake. If we were there for an extended period, the kitchen is also a great perk to have access to cook in as well. The place was so spacious and just like the photos. Everything was clean, easily accessible, and just perfect. We would love to stay again on a future visit to Hammondsport!

Hubbs Cellar was a wonderful place to stay for a few days to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. Walter was very responsive throughout the entire time, from booking to post departure. He met us when we arrived, making sure we were satisfied with the suite and provided restaurant recommendations, including a two-for-one coupon for a drink at The Hidden Cork. The spacious suite was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We greatly appreciated the bottle of wine Walter & Meredith had waiting for us when we arrived. We loved the custom woodwork of the dining room set and coffee bar. The fireplace made the living room nice and cozy. Also, enjoyed being a short walk to stores, the bakery, and restaurants. Highly recommend this place!!

We stayed in Hubbs Cellar, and all of our expectations were exceeded. The space is clean, well-appointed, and perfectly located. Walter is an exceptional host. We will absolutely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return in a heartbeat! The location is unbeatable. We could see the lake right from the property & easily walk down to it, stroll into town for shopping & dining, & visit the grocery store across the street (& the public library was just steps away, a treat for the book lovers in our group!) The whole area is incredibly scenic. The unit itself was beautifully decorated, cozy, and felt like a real home away from home. It was spacious enough for the three of us, with comfortable beds, plenty of seating, and gorgeous natural light throughout. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook and eat. Walter was an outstanding host. Very communicative, thoughtful, and attentive. The directional signage around the property was much-appreciated & made everything seamless from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this stay!

Junior's Suite was the highlight of our Finger Lakes trip. Spacious, clean, and in the best location. The kitchen was great for making breakfasts before heading out to the wineries. Walter is an excellent host who truly cares about his guests' experience. We'll be back!

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at Walter’s Guest House. Our trip could not have gone better and Hubb’s Cellar was at the heart of it all. From the perfect location to the lake, grocery store, shops, restaurants & more, to the cleanliness and homey atmosphere of Walter’s place itself, we could not have been more satisfied. The location also provided a short drive to Watkins Glenn and a great starting point to the Keuka Lake wine trail. Walter was informative, helpful, and incredibly kind. We can’t wait to return! Don’t miss out on this absolute gem! 10/10!!!

Accommodations were pristine❣️All amenities were beyond expectations of a rental unit! Very impressed by the attention to detail provided. Plenty of bath towels, doggie trash can outside of unit, coffee bar, room air filter, bottle of wine, ect! Would definitely stay again! Thank you soo much!

We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. The apartment is beautifully maintained and has a real homey feel. We loved being so close to the lake and the wineries. Walter goes above and beyond as a host. Already planning our next trip!

We checked out today but we didn't want to leave! This place is a gem. It's close to everything, the lake, the restaurants, The Hidden Cork, the wineries, and the museums. Very clean and well appointed. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for our night stay. We walked in excited to sleep and stay there. All was perfect- cute walkable town.

Large & comfortable, welcoming touch like bottle of wine! Very secure & quiet, easy walk to several restaurants & grocery store. A family could use the full kitchen with all needed pots&pans &dishes

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay with my son. his wife & our new (3 month old -1st Grandchild) Positive: Breakfast? The facility was very clean, well maintained & appointed. The location is excellent. Negative: Everything was perfect

The place was great! Surprisingly spacious! Two king sized beds. Easy walk to the square and food. Walter was super responsive and helpful! Will def stay again!

Walter was a fantastic host, very accommodating and takes personal pride in the listing and it shows! It was a short trip for my brother in laws 100k race but we will be back! If you are looking for something on or near Keuka lake this is a must stay!

We wish we could give more than 5 stars! Walter’s place was gorgeous and a treat to stay in. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants in town and only steps away from the water. Walter was extremely kind, flexible, and communicative. He gave us great recommendations for a dog park in the area (which our dog loved) and a wine bar that we thoroughly enjoyed. He was able to check us in an hour early, and he even left us a bottle of wine as an anniversary present. The whole stay was wonderful and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

The junior suite was just perfect for a night in Hammondsport. Very walkable to restaurants and the lake. Very clean, comfortable and Walter is a great host. Look forward to staying again in the future.
